Are you interested in learning how to quilt? Come in and Join our Beginner Quilting class with Christine. Christine uses her expertise to create a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging attendees to ask questions and offering them personalized assistance throughout the class. You do not need any prior quilting experience. This 6 Session Course will teach you everything from choosing fabrics to using a sewing machine using correct techniques for quilting. You will learn a new Skill Set at each session of your series continuing to gain confidence throughout your quilting Journey. 

Each Session will be Approximately 2-3 Hours Max; this quilting series may include some homework in between sessions , depending on the size you are going for, and your pace of work. 

Pricing: $150 Plus Fabric (Which will be Discounted for you) 

You will meet twice a month each month from January- March 2026; You can choose to come on Specific Thursday(s) each month from 1p-4p OR Specific Saturday(s) 11a-2p 

 

 

SPECIFICATIONS

  1. Session 1: The Basics – Explore fabric, thread, needles, and rotary cutting. 

select and buy fabrics for your quilt.

  1. Session 2: Nine Patch Block – Learn cutting and assembly techniques.
  2. Session 3: Star Block – Practice cutting and assembling a star block.
  3. Session 4: Squaring Up Blocks and Quilt Center Assembly – Put your blocks together and assemble the quilt center.
  4. Session 5: Borders – Discover both pieced and unpieced border options to frame your work.
  5. Session 6: Marking, Basting, and Machine Quilting – Finish your quilt top with essential techniques for marking, basting, and quilting by machine.
