Beginner Sewing 101 – Learn to Sew & Make a Tote Bag!

Have you always wanted to learn how to sew? Or maybe you’d like a refresher on the basics? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start!

In this class you will:

• Learn the parts and functions of a sewing machine

• Practice essential stitches and techniques

• Create your very own tote bag to take home!

Details:

• Length: Approximately 3–4 hours

• Thursday November 6th. 1p-4p EST

• Cost: $45

• Materials Provided: Fabric & straps (everything needed for the tote bag) Fabric in the Picture is just an example. 

• Machines Provided: Use one of our classroom sewing machines

• Optional: Bring your favorite sewing supplies (snips, scissors, ruler, etc.)

Whether you’re brand new to sewing or brushing up on forgotten skills, this fun and hands-on class will give you the confidence to start sewing on your own!
